RISE + SHINE
Jamaican Yoga Retreat
Treasure Beach, Jamaica
April 10 - 14, 2025
A universal truth of life happens to be that, at some point, you will meet with adversity, blinding struggle or even sheer devastation. These circumstances may knock you off your feet, steal the air from your lungs and take the wind out of your sails. Getting back up, as well as thriving, is a practice supported by the choices you make every single day. And so I invite you to …
RISE. Stand back upright again. Firmer and more grounded.
+
SHINE. Choosing to stoke your radiant light from within with a deeper and stronger breath.
On this retreat, our time together will be filled with vitalizing asana practices, pranayama and guided meditations to anchor you. The practice of SEVA will be a prominent component of our schedule, presenting several opportunities to serve and be with Treasure Beach’s Community and its members as they are RISING and SHINING again!
Located on Jamaica’s South Coast this remote and virtually untouched part of a beautiful island has an AMAZING energy that must be felt to be entirely comprehended, as words have rarely ever done it justice.
To fuel our 5 days and 4 nights of inner and outer work, there will be an abundance of healthy, locally sourced and authentic Jamaican dishes, each meal freshly prepared by in-house chefs. And we will embody your intention of groundedness and illumination within, which I know, strengthens and brightens others on the path as well as the wider world around us.

As her family roots run deep there, Trudi has lead five retreats in majestic Treasure Beach since 2021. Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, raised in South Florida and having lived in parts of Australia, Trudi is a well travelled and devoted mother of four. Her journey into discovering the many therapeutic benefits of yoga, as well as her deep love for the practice itself, began with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2010. Encouraged and empowered by how the vinyasa practice helped her counter her physical limitations, along with its ability to enhance the integration of her mind, body and spirit, she completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training in 2013 at Yogafly Studio under Peach Dumars and Jessica Carry. Heavily influenced by her academic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, her classes are physically challenging, informative and often playful - with a dose of heartfelt inspiration.
“The practice of yoga can be one of the greatest tools you use in gaining a deeper and truer understanding of yourself.”
